The article Pedro Rosso Leal has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Tagged as Unreferenced for more than 3 years. BLP. Possible cut and paste copyright violation. Header as Cuban diplomat and content as Chilean academic don't match. No reliable sources for either person could be found online. Prodding instead of Speedy because of assertion of notability, and sources in Spanish might be found.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. This has been unsourced for 21 years. If it were a student, it would be ready to graduate. Please add reliable sources and fix the tone via copy edits. If you would prefer to start from scratch, we can delete it. Bearian (talk) 10:12, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
- I think it'd be better to start from scratch and translate the Spanish article linked to it, which is the Concejo de Rectores and much more easily citable than the slippery terms of the current article. I'd be happy to work on it too (now that I am on vacation from uni, funnily enough). smallest red boyhe/she/it (talk • contribs) 00:52, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you. Bearian (talk) 01:15, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
- I started the work on the article in my sandbox, which you can see here. Any additional help with translating and adding information from other people in the project would be very welcome. :-) smallest red boyhe/she/it (talk • contribs) 01:14, 11 December 2025 (UTC)

Project members are invited to participate in the Destubathon of the Americas, a contest/editathon which will run from May 1 to May 31. The goal is to destub as many of our 475,000+ stubs for the Americas (from Alaska down to Chile) as possible. A good chance to have fun in expanding many of our old stale stubs and win up to $2680 in Amazon vouchers for expanding stub articles. Sign up in the Contestants/participants section on the contest page if interested. Even if not interested in prizes you are still warmly welcome to participate in it as an editathon! Hopefully we can achieve something significant in the month of May together! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 17:17, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
