New Issue Templates (March 2026)
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians!
When I first saw this article I had assumed it just needed a few edits for grammar and tone, but I think its issues go deeper than that (and have been present for some time given the original issue template re: citations was from 2010), so I decided to add a few more.
Here's a list of the ones I added (and why I added them):
- Confusing: I think there's some confusing/contradictory language in here, especially in the "Afterward" section. I edited Doni Harvey's section so that it no longer says he's currently playing with the Caribbean Allstars nearly 15 years after his death, but there might be some more issues like that. (The "Afterward" section as a whole seems like a bit of a mess to me, which is why I also gave it the relevancy template. I think there's a lot of stuff that doesn't need to be there, especially when some of the members already have articles of their own.)
- Tone: I was considering using the "written by a fan" template at first, but I think "unprofessional" is a better descriptor (though there's some bias in here too).
- Copy editing: What it says on the tin, there's just too many small grammatical issues and typos for me to fix by myself.
So yeah. I think a lot of these issues can be fixed easily, it would just take some time. | Angelicblade (talk) 00:29, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
