Piano Day
[edit]Frahm founded Piano Day on March 29, 2015, on the 88th day of the year to honor the 88-key piano instrument and its cultural impact.[8][9] LEITER manages the now international event by collecting and archiving worldwide performances on Piano Day, and by releasing companion albums every year on Piano Day featuring piano compositions composed to honour the day.[10]
